Covid-19 POLICY

We are currently following Public Health England and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy COVID-19 infection control measures including social distancing, masks and our therapists are wearing full PPE during the consultation for vulnerable clients.

 

We can see you for a face-to-face session provided you meet the following criteria:

 

You or anyone in your household does not currently have Covid-19, or have had symptoms in the last 14 days suggestive of Covid-19 (including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, change in sense of taste or smell).

You are not currently awaiting the outcome of a Covid-19 test, or swab.

You have not been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with or has symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

You or a member of your household have not been officially advised to Shield, or isolate.

You are not currently subject to isolation regulations following travel, or in an area subject to local lockdown. 

 

If you do not meet these criteria then we will offer you an online video consultation and we cannot see you face-to-face.

 

We conduct a risk assessment before the first appointment which we ask you to sign.

 

We are offering online and phone consultations for the following services:

  • Physiotherapy

  • Nutritional Advice

  • Exercise and Rehab Advice

  • Well-being and Home Care Advice & Programmes

  • Online Exercise Classes

We are offering in person appointments:

  • Physiotherapy

  • Massage

  • Nutritional Advice

  • Exercise and Rehab Advice

  • Well-being and Home Care Advice & Programmes

Our online appointment fees:

  • 30 minute online physiotherapy consultation - £44: which can include, pain management, referral to a specialist if required, home care, exercise, rehab, postural advice

  • 30 minute complementary health/well being consultation - £33: which can include nutritional advice, postural and movement and exercise advice, general well being and lifestyle support and advice. 

  • Online exercise & well being classes - £10 for one hour: which can include, nutritional advice, lifestyle home care advice, well being support including sleep, rhythms, exercise, fitness, flexibility, strengthening, back, joint rehab advice.

Our in person appointment fees:

  • Physiotherapy: 60 minutes - £80 or 30 minutes - £47: which can include physical assessment and diagnosis, electrotherapy, pain management, exercise rehabilitation, postural/biomechanical assessments, home care programs and onward referral to a specialist if required.

  • Remedial Massage: 60 minutes - £55 or 30 minutes £35 : which can include body work, massage, posture awareness, exercise programs, nutritional advice, lifestyle advice and home care programs.

  • Well being consultations 30 minutes - £35: which can include nutritional advice, postural and movement and exercise advice, general well being and lifestyle support and advice. 

How do I book a session online?

  • We have a secure video / audio online platform and we send you a secure link to access

  • We take bookings over the phone or by email

  • We take card payments by phone or BACS payments online

How do I book a session in person?

 

We ask you to complete an online consent and COVID screening form so we take into consideration your health status to decide whether an online or face-to-face appointment is the best option.


On arrival at the clinic, you will need to ring the door bell, come in and have a seat in reception. Your practitioner will come to collect you.


We are currently able to have essential visitors only at the clinic, so please come to your appointment alone unless you are under 16 years of age or you require a guardian or translator to support you in your visit. If you would like someone to accompany you then please contact us before you attend to discuss the options.


Face masks are not mandatory legally but advised to be worn the whole time inside the clinic so please bring your own face covering.


We are continuously monitoring the health of our staff.


You will be asked to sanitise your hands on arrival and departure from the clinic.


We will have a plastic box available for you to place your personal belongings and any clothes that you remove during treatment. This box is sanitised between clients.


We will be keeping the doors and windows of the clinic open as much as possible to keep the rooms well ventilated.


We recommend that you arrive with your own water bottle for hydration.


Please provide your own pen in case it is required.


Payments for treatments are currently contactless with a debit/credit card or online via BACS payment. We cannot currently accept cash or cheques.


We currently are not running any classes or workshops in person at the clinic but are currently running these online. Contact us for further information.


Cancellation Policy:
 

Our cancellation policy remains the same, please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment, otherwise there will be a 50% charge. This does not apply to personal sickness and personal emergencies. If you feel unwell prior to your appointment, that is no problem and there will be no cancellation charges. We will rearrange once you are feeling better. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (new continuous cough, high temperature, loss of taste or smell) but remain at home and self-isolate as per government guidelines. We will rebook your appointment after your self-isolation period is complete.


As a clinic we are continuing to maintain stringent hygiene procedures to ensure that we remain a safe, welcoming and comfortable place to visit to enable our clients to feel at ease and reassured that they are in caring hands.
