Andrew Mooney qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1997 from the University of Queensland, in Australia and has twenty years clinical experience. He has also published research into lower back pain. He has worked in both conventional and complementary medicine for much of this time, having worked in Europe, Asia and Australia.
He believes in a holistic and integrative approach to medicine, and his clinical observations and life experiences have led him to the conclusion that life itself is medicine and how we live and move on a daily basis contributes greatly to our health and wellbeing.
A chartered Physiotherapist, Complementary Health Practitioner, researcher, writer and presenter, he continues to work in both the private and public health sectors in Cornwall and further afield. He has a special interest in spinal/pelvic conditions and chronic pain.

Andrew Mooney understands and values the importance of connection and care in medicine. When these are present it can tangibly be felt and appreciated by both clients and practitioners.
"Self-care has the potential to transform the health of our ailing populations and also our health care practitioners alike."
Andrew is committed to living a life of self-care outside of the workplace that supports a consistency and dedication for his clients. By practicing himself everything that he advises in his clinic room, clients are inspired not just by words or treatment techniques but by the simplicity, ease and example of how self-care can be lived everyday.
“Andrew was incredibly understanding, supportive and caring. He treated my concerns with the utmost respect, regard and empathy. He treated me holistically so that I was better able to understand my condition and deal appropriately with it. I valued his treatment enormously.” ~ CW, Cornwall
